Description
Pepper and its piperine extract have many benefits. Beyond its gastronomic and gustatory qualities, the use of pepper in cooking not only improves the taste of dishes, but also helps to reduce the use of salt.
La Plantation's black Kampot pepper is harvested by hand from January onwards. The pods are then seeded, washed and the seeds dried in the sun for 2 to 3 days.
The black pepper of Kampot develops strong and delicate aromas. Its flavour is very intense and mild at the same time, with hints of eucalyptus and fresh mint. It goes perfectly with grilled meat and fish.
It is best not to boil pepper. Instead, it should be ground fresh on the plate.
